In the fast-paced world of sales and relationship management, staying on top of your interactions with contacts can make or break your success. One critical factor in maintaining strong connections and ensuring timely follow-ups is tracking the "last touch" with each contact. Let’s explore how easy and efficient this process can be with the right tools and strategies.
Steps to track the contact's last touch:
Use the Quick Action button to create a new contact. Click the button, select "Contact," enter the details, and click "Save."
In the top navigation bar, click "Contacts" and find the new contact in the Contact List table. The "Date Added" and "Last Contacted" columns will be visible at the end of the table.
The "Date Added" column shows the contact's creation date, and the "Last Contacted" column updates when any activity, follow-up, transaction, email, or note is created or updated for the contact.
Create an activity for the contact by clicking the Quick Action button, selecting "Activity," entering the details, and clicking "Save."
The activity creation date will be recorded in the "Last Contacted" column and also appear on the individual contact's page.
