Day 4 | Marketing & Operations Development Timeblock

Updated over 3 months ago

Part One: Marketing Development

Success in business follows two key principles:

  1. Proactive Prospecting System – The more you engage, the more opportunities you create.

  2. Influencer Marketing System – Your brand grows when you consistently share valuable content.

The Daily 3/1 System

To build a strong marketing presence, consistency is key. The 3/1 system helps you stay active and visible:

  • 3 daily marketing actions – Engagement, posting, and outreach.

  • 1 weekly showcase event – A video, webinar, or featured post to boost visibility.

Marketing Actions

Go-Giver Social Media

  • Spend 10 minutes engaging with others' content.

  • Aim for 5 likes, 5 comments, and 5 messages daily to build relationships.

POI (Person of Influence) Social Media

  • Post valuable content in business, personal, and family categories.

  • Spend 10 minutes daily establishing your credibility.

Newsletter Content Creation

  • Dedicate 10 minutes to writing or repurposing content.

  • Turn your social media videos into newsletter content for wider reach.

Exercise: Where are you most consistent in marketing? Where do you need improvement?

Part Two: Operations Development

Your business thrives on structure. If you’re a solopreneur, much of your time goes into service and operations. That’s why the 4-Hour Workday System helps simplify your workflow by focusing on high-impact tasks.

Daily Operational Check-in

Before jumping into work, prioritize:

  1. Personal development – Take care of yourself first.

  2. Prospecting – Engage in revenue-generating activities.

  3. Marketing – Stay visible and relevant.

By focusing on these areas daily, you streamline operations, reduce stress, and create long-term growth.

Part Three: Afternoon Activities

Use your afternoons for theme-based tasks to stay productive and organized.

Theme Days:

  • Backstage Days – Handle admin work and catch up on tasks.

  • Off-Days – Focus on personal growth and creative thinking.

  • Performance Days – Engage in meetings, calls, and sales activities.

Boomerang Calls

Follow up with prospects from your morning outreach. If they don’t answer, leave a quick message showing their call matters.

Showcase Events (Pick One Weekly):

  1. Networking – Build relationships and expand your reach.

  2. Mini-Advocate – Share testimonials or success stories.

  3. Speaking – Host or participate in events to boost credibility.

A lifestyle business seamlessly blends personal and professional growth. The most successful entrepreneurs master this balance. Stay consistent, adapt as needed, and watch your results grow.
